Rail Lines
Genesee County has two major rail carriers intersecting
within its boundaries: CSXT and CN railroads.
CSXT
Railroad terminates in the county and has a rail yard
located near General Motors manufacturing facilities. CSXT
has the capacity to do 30,000 container lifts annually and
has a main line running south into Florida and Texas.
CN
Railroad runs East-West, coast-to-coast through Canada
and the United States. The CN line traverses Genesee County.
