Due to both my previous governmental and professional work experience, I am well prepared to address the Health, Safety and Welfare issues of all County Residents. I served on the Richfield Township Board of Trustees for sixteen years. During that time, I served on the Davison-Richfield Fire Authority, Planning Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals. I have had the privilege of working throughout the entire state, as both an Ironworker and as a Business Agent (representing hardworking men and women). Currently, I am serving on both the Mackinac Bridge Authority and the MIOSHA Construction Safety Standards for Michigan. I recognize and appreciate the quality of life issues that affect the lives of folks in our community.
While other communities are just now experiencing difficult economic times, we in Genesee County have been under the gun for some time. We need someone who’ll fight for working families. I will be willing to employ new methods to bring all the required parties, (business, industry and labor), together to work cooperatively, with our local governments, to grow and maintain jobs in our area.
